NYC w/ Makeup by Mario x Sephora: An Unforgettable Dinner

There are emails that change your day, and then there are emails that change your year. When I opened the invite from Sephora, I had to read it twice. This was going to be my second brand trip with a major brand, and not just anywhere—in New York City! 🗽✨ Sephora. Makeup by Mario. Staying in a beautiful hotel, an intimate dinner with Mario himself, attending the masterclass, and being surrounded by fellow creators… it was a moment I’ll never forget!
For the dinner, I went full monochrome in white. I paired wide-leg pleated trousers with a sleek bodysuit, layered under a structured blazer with gold button details. My accessories were simple but statement-making: oversized earrings, a chic bag, and pointed heels to elongate the look. My hair was pulled back in a clean, low bun to keep the focus on the outfit. It was modern, chic, and exactly the vibe I wanted for the evening.

Walking into that dinner, I couldn’t help but think of all the times I wondered if opportunities like this would ever come my way. Sitting at the table with Mario and his team, in a city that never stops moving, I realized: I belong here.
From creating in my room to being flown out for experiences like this, I don’t take a single moment for granted. This wasn’t just a brand trip—it was a reminder of how far I’ve come, and how much more God has in store for me. To be invited, celebrated, and welcomed into this space means everything.
I am grateful. I am inspired. And I am only getting started. <3
