Lunch & Lessons: Choosing Spaces of Love
Not every lunch is just about food—sometimes it’s about reminding yourself of the energy you deserve. This outing was simple, but it held so much meaning for me. After closing certain doors in my life, I’ve been leaning into the spaces that feel light, warm, and genuine. And this lunch was exactly that.
I dressed with intention—comfortable but chic. A polished fit that reflected how I was feeling: grounded, centered, and stepping into a new chapter. Although the fit was very laid back, I wanted to play around with some colour by adding this scarf to jazz it up. The colours on the scarf balanced this look so well. And of course, I cannot go anywhere without my shades. The light tint of purple really set it off. My makeup was soft glam, my accessories pulled the outfit together, and overall the vibe was effortless confidence.
This day reminded me of something I hold close: go where you are celebrated, not merely tolerated. Life’s too short to pour into places where the energy isn’t reciprocated. There’s peace in sitting at a table where you can be fully yourself and know it’s enough.
“Surround yourself with people who make you hungry for life, touch your heart, and nourish your soul.”
